Volunteers
We are excited for the upcoming LASA Raptors Swim/Dive Season. Our team continues to grow in size and success! Now is the time to make sure all of our volunteer positions are filled for the season. If your child is participating in the 2025-26 season, please find a way to support the team through the following open volunteer opportunities. As you all know it takes a village to support our swimmers and many of these activities cannot happen without dedicated volunteers. To those of you who have already committed to volunteering, THANK YOU!!

- Description: Coordinate selection, sales, ordering and distribution of team swimsuits & caps
Fundraising Chair & Gear - Michele Fenton + AVAILABLE
- Coordinate with all Step Up! Gear Up! Fundraising Initiatives
- Step Up! - Team Sponsorships
- Gear Up! - Coordinate sales, ordering, and distribution of team T-Shirts, and school-wide sale of pajama pants and towels
- AVAILABLE - Fulfillment Support. Assist Fundraising Chair with sorting and distribution of merchandise
Meet Nutrition Coordinators
- Carrie Dulaney & Derrick Giles - Meal Coordinators - coordinates orders and delivery of meals. Will split the meets between the two Coordinators
- AVAILABLE - Meal Helper - assists Meal Coordinators
- AVAILABLE - dive-only meet meals
- Tanya Lopez + Ida Murguia + Gian-Claudia Sciara - snacks/drinks. Will coordinate directly with coaches and/or Booster officials to purchase/deliver snacks to meets.

- Coordinate all aspects of travel for the Regional Meet with Committee Members

Event Coordinator (Breakfast/Yearbook Photo) - AVAILABLE
- Work with Coach Parks and the captains to schedule a breakfast for the team to get the team yearbook photo taken
- Food will be provided by boosters
Event Coordinator (Holiday Party) - Michele Fenton
- Open your home to our awesome swimmers for a holiday party in Early December (Exact Date TBD)
- Main meal will be provided by Booster with a potluck for sides and desserts & Swim team Captains Coordinate Gift Exchange
Event Coordinator (Carb Loading Party) - AVAILABLE
- Open your home to our awesome swimmers for this annual tradition in late January.
- Food is paid for by the booster club, you coordinate ordering and delivery of pasta, etc
Senior Parent Volunteer - Rosie Truelove (senior gifts) + AVAILABLE
- Purchase with Booster Funds yearbook page and coordinate the Senior Spread in the 2024-25 Yearbook
- Coordinate gathering of baby photo’s of all seniors on team to be used in yearbook spread
- Coordinate/take group photo of seniors to be used in yearbook spread
- Purchase Senior Gifts, as defined by Booster, for End of Season Banquet
- Purchase Captain Gifts, as defined by Booster, for End of Season Banquet
- Purchase Coaches Gifts from Booster, for End of Season Banquet
Team Photographers - Christine Gardy + Ana Morris
- A parent volunteer to take pictures of the team throughout the season at swim meets and on deck
- Maintain the team’s google photos site and upload team photos
- Coordinate and take Entire 2025-26 Season Team Photo
- Coordinate and take State Qualifiers Photo
Letterman Jacket Coordinator - OPEN
- Coordinate and contact vendor to arrange fittings, distribution of forms, and fitting date in the Spring
- Communicate with vendor to ensure all payments are made and deadlines are met
- Must receive delivery of jackets and ensure distribution to student-athletes
- Must communicate with vendor to ensure swim team has online ordering capability on the vendor’s website
